Have smaller meals more often
An empty stomach or big meals can worsen nausea. -
Choose gentle, cold foods
Opt for things like bananas, custards, jelly, tinned fruit, crackers, and toast. - After eating, try to remain upright

Try foods and drinks with ginger or peppermint
You may like to consider having peppermint tea. -
In between meals, have cold, clear fluids
This can also help lessen the chance of headaches and constipation.

The most commonly reported side effect on Ozempic is nausea. About 17-19% of patients in clinical trials experienced this, typically while their body adjusts to the medication.
ℹ️ If you do experience nausea, here are some things to help:
- Eat smaller meals more frequently - aim for up 6 small meals no bigger than your fist An empty stomach or larger meals can make nausea worse
- Try opting for bland, cold foods - avoid high fat-content or spicy foods e.g. Bananas, custards, jelly, tinned fruit, crackers & toast
- Stay upright after eating
- Try **ginger-**containing food and drinks, or peppermint tea
- Cold clear fluids in-between meals This will also help minimise your risk of headaches & constipation
